QR Code

PlacerBot uses QR Code on the cartridge to associate the loaded parts with the place on the loading dock. The QR Code is a 10mmx10mm square code. The format of the QR Code is as  given below

P=package,V=value,R=rating,T=tape width, F=feeder type,U=user data

Where

  • package is  the part package like 0603, 0805  …
  • value is the value of the part like 10uF, 100K …
  • rating is the rating of the part like 16V
  • tape width is the width of the tape like 8, 12 or 16
  • feeder type is the value of the feeder like ECO for Eco-Feeder, AUTO for Auto-Feeder, MANUAL for Manual-Feeder
  • user data is any data that the user may wan to record for the tape. This data is not used by the PlacerBot software
